Telling My Coworkers

I dreaded telling my coworkers. It was going to be the hardest news to share.

I feel a special connection to my job. It was my first professional job straight out of school and I had a lot to learn. My coworkers took me under their wing and helped transform me from a timid, brand new PA to a much more confident provider. I am so appreciative of this and could not have asked for a better group of coworkers. They are incredible people. Very supportive, knowledgable, encouraging, loving and friendly people.

Although I dreaded sharing the news, I received really supportive and encouraging feedback. My coworkers reactions reassured me that this was a risk worth taking.

Before I left they threw me a “Bon Voyage” party. What a wonderful night! The love and support I received in the days before my departure was overwhelming!

I didn’t expect a job to have an impact like this one has had on me! I never expected leaving to be so hard, but it sure does say a lot about the amazing people I worked with!
