What does Fernweh mean?

Fernweh is a German word meaning “farsickness” or “longing for far-off places.” Other translations include:
* Homesickness for places you have never been
* An ache for distant places
* The craving for travel

I absolutely love this word because it encompasses exactly how I feel! Essentially it is synonymous with wanderlust, but in my opinion a way cooler word with a better definition!
